How do I know my image will work on a T-shirt?
The factors affecting the quality of the image on your shirt include resolution and design. If your image is too low-resolution, it may come out looking blurry. Or if your design is too detailed, a T-shirt may not be the place for it. In general, clear, bold, simple designs work best on T-shirts.
Tee Junction's online designer will provide a general guide and warning if the design you used is low quality, or enlarged too much to provide a good print result.
Tee Junction recommends:
- Images and designs at 300DPI resolution or higher
- Avoid using pictures/designs saved from the internet, as these are usually very low quality at 72DPI.
- PNG files with transparent backgrounds, which means you won't have a solid background behind your design
